      Bahij Kashou    President/Owner

Bahij Kashou is the principal behind the construction and operation of the Greater Binghamton Sports Dome. The multimillion dollar facility is the largest indoor dome facility in the country and, in addition to hosting soccer play, the Dome hosts a wide variety of other sports including lacrosse, baseball, softball, golf driving range and Menís and Womenís Semi-Professional football. In 2012 Bahij, along with minority owner Chris Riley, formed the Greater Binghamton Futbol Club and gained entry into the National Premier Soccer League. In its first season of play in the Midwest/ Great Lakes Division of NPSL, GBFC earned the only league-wide victory over first place Cleveland while qualifying for the division playoffs at Erie where they lost a close 1-0 match to the host team. 2013 saw GBFCs success continue with our hometown team win the 9 team Keystone Conference Championship. GBFC went on to win the North East Region Semi-Final over the NY Red Bulls U23 2- 1. GBFC fell to the 2012 NPSL Champion FC Sonic in the Region Final 1-0 to complete a 10-2-2 season. 2014 was a fine repeat of the previous season with the Thunder compiling a 9 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties during the regular season to repeat as Keystone Conference Champions again. The Post season saw the Thunder defeat Virginia Beach City in the Northeast Region quarter final 1-0 and the team posted an identical score in the semi final win over the DC United U23 squad that had won the Mid Atlantic Conference Championship. The season came to an end when the Thunder lost in the Northeast Region Final against eventual NPSL League champion New York Red Bulls U23. Kashou has invested in building one of the few NPSL team-owned home fields on Dome property. The field was upgraded in 2013 to include a 1500 spectator bleacher seating. The team also owns its own logo-ed bus and has its own locker rooms on premises. Upgrades for the 2014 season included installation of a press box and two story pavilion that includes the concession area and a VIP viewing area. The pavilion also hosted special social events at the field. Professionally, Kashou is owner of a medical supply business and coaches a youth girls team in his spare time.
